CashCrate, Product Overview
Cash crate seems like a pretty straight forwards company offering users money for their participation in surveys. Upoin further inspection CashCrate unviels itself as a multiple pppurtunity provider. This company offers not only to pay for your participation in surveys but also to pay for you to play games, Watch videos, CLick
The Good & The Bad
The Good:
PRO #1
This company does exactlly what they say they wiill do and that is pay you for the time and effort you put forth completeing their offers. CashCrate actully follows through with their promisses and pays their users the money they deserve.
Not only have I experianced this first hand but there are also a huge amount of confirmed Payouts you can see for yourself on their Payment Wall. As of the last time I checked they are at just under 4 million dollars of payment. You can check out the Payment Wall your self by clicking HERE.
It so refreshing to have one of these cash for survey companies actually follow through with their offers and not turn out to be a scam. This is definitly not the only company out their offereing payment for completing offers but it is one of the few honest ones out there. When dealing with these types of companies trust is a big seller for me and these guys have manages to capture and keep my trust with their well dun company.
PRO #2
CashCrate offers a ton of different ways to earn money through their website. These methods have a huge range from Surveys and online offers to Games and contests. This variety of options really lets you decide how you want to spend your time within CashCrate and then fully attack that avenue.
CashCrate breaks down their payment programs into 8 main categories:
- Offers – This category is made up of an assortment of random payment programs including: Signing up for lottery prizes, joining monthly subscriptions like BarkBox, Netflix, Hulu, Affiliate ofers for getting others to sign up for programs including Netflix, Hulu, Freester Etc.
Offers is deffinitly a hodge podge of possibilities that overlaps a bit with all the other categories.
- Surveys – This category is made up of exactally what you would expect; a whole mess of surveys offering to pay you for your participation. These surveys range not only in the topics they are surrounding but also vary in the amount of time required to complete, the amount of times per day you can repeat these sruveys for multiple payouts, and most importantly the amount of money you will get paid to complete the survey.
The length of time required to complete usually directly reflect the amount of money you will be paid for completeing each survey. While this relationship is pretty obvious in its application it is not the rule for these surveys. SOme 10 minute surveys will earn you $0.30 and other 10 minute surveys will earn you $2.00.
Be sure to fully inspect each survey offer before begining your work to make sure the juice is worth the squeeze.
- Tap Research – Tap Research is actually just a bunch of survey offers given through a specific TAP format/external company. These are actually my favorite surveys to complete on the CashCrate Website. I prefer these surveys mostly because of how rare it is that a survey will determine a participant inelegible.
Tap is fairly accurate with their time approximations and the ratings associated with each survey further bolsters this accuracy. Thanks to the realistic estimates of each surveys time you can try to squeeze an extra few bucks out of your minor free times between engagements.
- Best Survery – CashCrate describes its Best Surveys by stating that “We’ve hand-picked our favorite offers and surveys for you to complete here on the Best Surveys tab. Try these first, then move on to the other tabs for even more money-making opportunities!”
The Best Surveys section generally only has 5-8 offers that represent the mainstay offers of the CashCrate company. These offers can be found in the regular survey section but are specifically highlighted in the best survey section for their consistency and ease of use.
This section should be visited daily to complete the highlighted offers quickly. Think of this section as your daily quest section and get at them.
- Referrals – Thanks largely to the fact that the more users CashCrate gets the more valuable their company becomes for surveyors thus you can get paid for bringing your friends, family, and acquaintences to join the Cash Crate family.
This system works in two seperate but equally awesome ways. It pays you for simply getting people to sugn up using your unique referral code. It also pays you for the sucess your referees have.
If you really push and try to get a large number of people to join under your referral code you can begin to earn a decent reoccuring earning. The referral program is the most viable method of earnign a substantial reoccuring payout if you can get enough people to join your team.
- Videos & More – This section of offers consists of nto only videos that will pay to be watched but also surveys, app downloads, and purchace offers. The main differentiating factor between this section and the others is that it focuses of offers from only 5 sourses: Persona.ly, RadiumOne, Encrave, OfferToro, and SuperRewards.
I have to say it, the name videos and more is very misleading. While there are some video offers in this section it is not the main porthion of the offers as the name would suggest. This section is more just an area that is focused of the 5 companies listed above.
- Bonus Surveys – This section is devoted to those time limited surveys that will only be avaialable for a short period of time or those surveys that only apply to users that have met certain prerequsites. One of the main “bonuses” of these offers is there high payout values with most offers over the $1.00 mark.
Overall this is just another section for survey offers. I like to check this section after going through Best Surveys and Tap Research.
- Bonus Offers – Just like Bonus Surveys this section is filled with those time limited offers that will only be avaialable for a short period of time or those offers that only apply to users that have met certain prerequsites. These offers generalyl involve purchasing something or signing up for a subscription. If you have any subscriptions currently it is wrth your while to check if you can switch your subscription to the given offers so you can earn money for things you are already purchasing.
PRO #3
Its super easy to switch from absently scrolling through the internet to completing surveys and offers for free money. The ease of use of this site really lends itself to productivity on your side. These offers can be completed on a computer, tablet, or smart phone. This allows you to earn a proffit in almost any situation.
The lack of time limits and ability to pause and continue your work later on lets a person continually work and complete offers earning a maximum return on their efforts. At the end of the day the whole purpose of joining a website like this is to turn your internet extra time into cash and this company really tries to give you their money.
The Bad:
CON #1
One of the biggest and most obvious cons to a company like cash crate is the overal time consumption involved in completeing the offers presented. THe surveys and questionaires do not take a crazy amount of time to complete and each has a pretty decent payout for what is involved. The negative aspect becomes appartent when youbreak down what you would be getting paid hourly for your time.
When I broke down what I was earning on an hourly basis (I used hourly pay just for the standard perspective it gives) what i was making would not be enough for me to consider a full time payout. So if you are looking for a way to leave your current job I do not think that CashCrate provides a viable option. However, if your looking to make a little bit of extra cash with your otherwise wasted internet roaming this is a great site.
CON #2
This issue was not something that occured enough to turn me away from CashCrate but it happened frequently enought that it is my number one complaint. I’m talking abiut when you complete a survey spending anywhere from 1-10 minutes of background information only to be told that you do not fully qualify for this offer and being turned away.
If you choose your surveys cafefully and avoid some of the obviously very specifically targeted surveys you can avoid being repeatedly rejected. It is insanely frusterating but after some experiance with this platform I can now pretty accurately predict which offers I will be denighed and which offers will accept my demographic.
Once you realize that the system is checking your demographic to make sure it fits the designated survey the regections begin to make some sense. Everyonce in a while I will still get denighed from a survey that I think fits me perfectly but I mark these random denighals and the exception and not the rule.
My Final Opinion of CashCrate
Overall CashCrate is a great online oppurtunity to earn some money in your spare time. I use this website more as a productive time waster. I do not think the offers that I am able to complete constitute a full time salary or even a livable wage.
That being said I still use this site regularly. Whenever I find myself absently roaming the internet I immediately switch over to cashcrate to earn some minimal payment for my wasted non thinking time online. Using it in this manner; I have been extreamly successful in turning the times I go to the internet for mindless entertainment into real life cash.
VERDICT: Worth It to Join and Absently Complete Offers Not To Create Lifestyle Changes

Hi there, thank you for this interesting article about Cash Crate, I have never heard of them before. it is interesting to see that you have experienced being turned away – this has happened to me a couple of times (not with Cash Crate) and I just lost interest quite frankly. Now that I have read your article, I may just have a try at Cash Crate.
I see you speak about this only being a sideline thing, do you have any suggestions of what we can do to build a long term online business? I would be interested to hear your thoughts.
Blessings
